We are proudly a community-owned lodge, connected to the the Senzo’kuhle Nkos’unodada Community, and committed to creating lasting impact. While the lodge is professionally operated, it provides employment opportunities to people from the surrounding areas — and our commitment goes well beyond jobs. Every stay and every event held here directly contributes to the growth and upliftment of the local community.
Investing In Our Team
We’ve established an in-house training fund to support our team’s growth and development. Over the years, many staff members have advanced their careers through respected institutions such as the International Hotel School.
Supporting Small-Scale Enterprise
We’re passionate about nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit within our team. One talented staff member has used her sewing skills to create our staff uniforms, tablecloths, and table runners — all handmade with care. We also support local suppliers as much as possible when sourcing our food and other lodge essentials, helping to grow small businesses in our surrounding communities.
Supporting Local Rugby Clinics
This year, we proudly partnered with Wild Connection, an organisation doing incredible outreach work in our local communities. As part of this collaboration, The Springbok Lodge provided lunch supplies for rugby clinics held at nearby schools. These events brought children together for sport, fun, and connection — and on both occasions, we helped feed over 100 children. We’re honoured to support initiatives that uplift, inspire, and strengthen the communities around us.
