About The Springbok Lodge

The Only Community Owned Lodge On Nambiti

The Springbok Lodge lies in the heart of the malaria-free Nambiti Private Game Reserve. It was one of the first lodges established in the reserve. While the exact opening date is unknown, records show that construction began in late 2005 or early 2006.

A group of shareholders originally founded the lodge. Later, it gained attention through its links with Springbok rugby legends Percy Montgomery and John Smit. Today, the lodge operates independently and is proudly community-owned.

But we do more than offer luxury safaris. At The Springbok Lodge, we are committed to making a positive impact. We create meaningful jobs, support local skills development through a training fund, and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our area.

Our 21 luxury safari tents accommodate up to 58 guests. The design draws inspiration from traditional Zulu style. Guests can enjoy two rock-style swimming pools, a dedicated children’s area, and fully equipped conference facilities.

We believe in combining comfort, conservation, and community. Whether you’re here to relax, explore, or connect, your stay supports something bigger.
