Big 5 Safari Drives
Enjoy a 3-hour morning or afternoon safari drive through the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, led by a qualified field guide. During the drive, you’ll stop to enjoy a hot coffee at sunrise or a refreshing sundowner at sunset.
Self-Guided Camp Walk
Enjoy the fresh air on our 1.2km self-guided camp within the lodge’s fenced camp area. Perfect for stretching your legs between game drives, this easy loop lets you walk safely while soaking up the sights, sounds, and birdlife of the bush — all at your own pace.
Catchy & Release Fishing (Extra Charge)
Enjoy the unique experience of fishing in a Big 5 reserve! Our freshwater dams are home to Bass, Tilapia, Grass Carp, and Barbel — all catch-and-release to protect the environment. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just curious to try, it’s a great way to relax in the wild. Fishing gear is available, or bring your own. Best season: September to February. bookings can be made directly at the lodge.

Performed by a talented local group, it’s a lively and authentic experience often enjoyed around the boma fire — and one that leaves a lasting impression. Battlefields Tours: Step Into South Africa’s History (Prebooking essential & extra charges apply)
Located near some of KwaZulu-Natal’s most iconic Battlefields, The Springbok Lodge offers guests the chance to explore South Africa’s rich and turbulent past. We can connect you with local guides who bring history to life at nearby sites — including the Battle of Elandslaagte, fought right here on the reserve in 1899. Add a deeper layer to your safari with a journey through the stories that shaped this land.
