October at The Springbok Lodge was nothing short of spectacular. From awe-inspiring wildlife sightings to the serene beauty of the bush, every day offered something memorable for our guests. The month also included a very special celebration as the Nambiti community came together to commemorate 25 years of Nambiti — a truly unforgettable milestone.
Wildlife Sightings
This month brought an array of remarkable wildlife encounters. We enjoyed cheetah casually strolling past the game viewers, breeding herds of elephants moving gracefully through the reserve, and impressive elephant bulls making their presence known.
Guests also witnessed elephants swimming — always a firm favourite — as well as a beautifully unexpected sighting of a serval weaving through the long grass. October has certainly delivered some exceptional moments across the plains.

Lodge Update
We were incredibly fortunate to have both cheetah and elephant right in front of the lodge this month — unforgettable moments for guests and our team alike.
On several occasions, we also had the pleasure of setting up beautiful bush lunches along the Sundays River. These unique dining experiences offered guests a peaceful and luxurious moment in the heart of the reserve.

An Exciting Event
We were honoured to host a very special celebration for Nambiti Private Game Reserve, marking 25 years of Nambiti. The event took place out on the reserve at The Village, where we handled everything from the elegant bush setup to the beautifully prepared food.
Beyond the celebration itself, one of the standout highlights was the sound of live saxophone drifting through the heart of the reserve. This added a touch of romance and created an unforgettable atmosphere, making it a truly magical evening.
